GF RUGGED THERMOPLASTIC DISC FILTER SYSTEMS
Constructed in Glass-Free Polypropylene
CHEMAG™ Series GF horizontal
disc filter systems feature all pure polypropylene construction with simplified maintenance features. SOLID, fusion welded, glass-free polypropylene thermoplastic construction withstands the most corrosive applications. CHEMAG™ is the benchmark for SOLID thermoplastic construction, absent of metallic parts, rubber lining or glue welding. Systems equipped with heavy duty thermoplastic seal-less magnetic pumps.
Series GF horizontal disc systems are available in 5", 8" 10", 12" and 18" diameter sizes. Slurry tank designs are available for continuous or intermittent carbon treatment. Corrosion proof, polypropylene filter vessels offer years of trouble-free service without costly relining of metallic housings. All systems are equipped with polypropylene or PVDF seal-less mag-drive pumps for ensuring a leak-free process.
Disc filter systems are advanced water filtration solutions widely used in agriculture, industrial processes, and municipal water treatment to remove suspended solids and organic matter efficiently. These systems use a stack of grooved plastic discs compressed together to create a highly effective filtration surface, capturing particles as water flows through the filter. Disc filter systems are known for their high dirt-holding capacity, consistent filtration performance, and ability to handle varying flow rates and water qualities, making them a reliable choice for applications that require precise and durable filtration technology.
Benefits
The benefits of disc filter systems include excellent filtration efficiency, low maintenance requirements, and long service life. They offer superior backwashing performance, which reduces downtime and ensures continuous operation even in demanding conditions. Disc filter systems are compact, energy-efficient, and resistant to corrosion and chemicals, making them cost-effective over time. Additionally, their modular design allows for easy scalability, helping users optimize water quality, protect downstream equipment, and improve overall system performance.
